All for this sector offered products are two component sealing systems based
on polysulphide, which differ in resistance against chemical and/or biological
loads and therefore also in their characteristic applications. All types are
offered in stable as well as in castable consistency and in standard colours grey
and black, the types PK 21 and PK 21 G additionally in beige and brown.Brief descriptionThe joint sealants PK 21 and PK 21 G are suitable for the sealing of joints without chemical load in accordance with DIN 18 540 respectively ISO 11600. The resistance against de-icing salts and minor loads by fuel and oil is given and the therefore perfect use in car parks and on park decks.The joint sealants PK 22 ST and PK 22 G are tested and external controlled on resistance against fuels and de-icing salts in accordance with DIN EN 14188-2. In the road construction sector the suitability in accordance with ZTV Fug for a movement accommodation factor up to 35 % of the joint width is proven. The joint sealants PK 25 ST and PK 25 G are technically approved for the use in floors and pavements of plants for storing, filling and handling of goods and are resistant against a multiplicity of substances hazardous to water. In combination with adequate primers they may be used for contact bodies like concrete, asphalt, semi-rigid coatings, polymer concrete and mastic asphalt. These products have the European Technical Approval ETA - 05/0016 respectively ETA -05/0017. They have a movement accommodation factor of 35 % of the joint width. The joint sealing system FB 25 consists of Joint Tape FB 25, Joint Sealant PK 25 ST and an adequate primer suitable for the corresponding subsoil offers further solutions. It is used for the sealing of joints with a movement accommodation factor of more than 35% of the joint width, for too big and too small dimensioned joints, for corner joints and for joints with shear stress, for the renovation without removal of the old sealing as well as for the sealing of cracks which cannot be expended to a joint. The system is approved under ETA - 08/0268.
