PROXAN Primers are bonding agents for sealants on all
kind of substrates.
The one- and two-component primers are applied in the floor as well as in
the building sector and are part of test certificates and building regulations approvals for PROXAN sealants and sealant systems.
- Proxan Primer PK 1 is a one-component bonding agent for PU and polysulphide sealants and is applicable for porous, absorptive building materials, such as concrete, natural and artificial stone, clinker,
etc.
- Proxan Primer PK 2 is also a one-component bonding agent for polysulphide sealants. It is used for non-absorptive substrates, such as split clinker, glazed ceramics, plastics, metals and glass.
- Proxan Primer PK 3 is a two-component bonding agent for polysulphide sealants used for the preparatory treatment of porous, absorbent surfaces such as concrete, masonry, timber, especially
for floor sector.
- Primer PPK 3S is a two-component bonding agent for polysulphide sealants on problematic
substrates and for special application conditions, respectively. It can be applied on absorptive and on non-absorptive
substrates. It adheres excellently, for example, on freshly cut asphalt and different metals such as VA steel, brass or aluminium. Proxan
Primer PK 3S is particularly suitable if sealing is additionally exposed to a thermal load up to 100°C.
E
- Primer PK 5010 is a two-component bonding agent for absorptive
substrates such as concrete, masonry or untreated timber, preferably in
floor areas. Due to its low viscosity, it is particularly suitable for
being applied by spraying.
